José Bautista is a composer, multimedia producer, sound artist and documentary filmmaker. He is also the founder of KanseiSounds , co-founder of Altamar.tv Films . He lives and works in Madrid, Spain.
He has collaborated with photographers and agencies across genres like reportage, documentary, and conceptual art. His sound installations have been exhibited in Spain, Japan, Moscow, France and England. He has also directed documentary works, including “Break In” in 2016, “The Sleeping Land” in 2017, “The Silence of War, Damascus” in 2019 and “Indestructibles” in 2021-2022.
He has won multiple international awards, including 4 World Press Photo Awards for multimedia productions.
His work blends innovative soundscapes with experimental storytelling.
